In the Horgon Era, the term Storm Lord came into usage for the storm giants ruling areas of Kerthjorg. When the Aslauthroan Empire (9 HE - 1891 HE) came to power, these Storm Lords were like feudal lords. Under them were Storm Dukes that help manage the empire's five principalities.
