Above the windswept landscape of Atlasfell are a series of earth and rock islands called the Void Steps. Each have a substantial quantity of Jurungen, giving them life and allowing for a structural marvel in the sky. The Void Steps got their name because the highest steps are so far above the surface of Marragh, that they are airless.
The Girderhead family has title to all of the Void Steps. They built the Girderhead Institute of War on them. This premier school of warfare has training grounds across a dozen of the Void Steps. They use some to train parachutist, with the trainees parachuting from one Void Step down to the next. The highest Void Steps are also used to train in light gravity and restricted or no air conditions.
