Cadence is a large collection of tomes, each of beaten iron, each page of stretched demon skin, a personal account of numerous battles that Gruumsh participated in, many as leader. Gruumsh moved around a lot before he became a Higher Power. Many of these tomes were lost in his travels, lost on some battlefield, stashed in hiding places never returned to, and stolen. There are 114 books, the last of the Cadence series, details the account of Gruumsh battling the goblin god Maglubiyet.
