When Blac'drugulois took command of the orcs in the Arduous March (1041 - 1096), his first task was to break one of their identifying traits by changing their language. This was done to make the Orc language less crude sounding and more refined like the Nidurrâb language. It was also done to take up less space when writing, since to write the same thing in Nidurrâb with Orc requires nearly a quarter more space (a 100 pages of Nidurrâb translated to Orc requires roughly 125 pages).
High Orc is the primary language of the Githirmil and the Ved'ogiim.
