Demonweb Pits is a nightmarish world ruled by the goddess Lolth. Most of the goods that come to this world are prey for the planet's innumerable spiders. When this is not done, for economic reasons, or to prune the population, the spiders and other predators turn upon their own kind and their masters. These periods of intentional pruning of the population, weeding out the weak, are similar to how Lolth once ran the mortal empire of Thiliorúth.
