Nilience is a mixture of positive energy and negative energy contained in a crystal rod.
Saboteurs use Nilence as an explosive. To activate the Nilience mixture, the crystal rod is crushed by expanding liquids like water, or acid to dissolve the glass that separates the two energies.
Nilience comes in three grades, Grade A, Grade B, and Grade C. The latter grade is the most unstable and explosive. The costs of Nilience are listed under the Saboteur prestige class.
