Gird is a valley in the southeastern corner of Steirgar. The valley is cut by a number of streams that form the headwaters of the Araglas river. Gird is home to bugbears, earth giants, and mountain giants. The mountain giants dwell in the upper elevations, sometimes raiding the villages and stockades of their "smaller" neighbors. The peaks surrounding the valley are home to griffons, rocs, and wyverns.
The Orgerd road begins at the southernmost village of the valley. There are three bugbear villages in the area and hundreds of cave dwellings. Starting from the south, the bugbear villages are Dúlg, Gonk and Yag.
