In the Lith-Crillion Era, the Bandu cave complex was a hot-spot for gold mining. There were thick veins going in all directions, and nuggets could be scooped from the area's waterways. Mazal Maram, built as a mining camp, grew with all the Bandu gold passing through it, destined for a time to go down the Earth Seam to Urbal Nabad.
