Mitharlith is a rift near the south central spur of Ugradrath. At its greatest depth, the canyon is four miles deep. In this bottom area are hundreds of smoking pools of acid and boiling water.
Many expired mines are along the edges of this rift. These are reached by paths cut into the walls of the canyon, some are very hazardous due to lack of maintenance. The mines are home to a high number of umber hulks. These creatures were once raised by the area's kobolds, but they let their population get out of hand, so now they are more of a threat than a help.
