Cinder spears were created in the Demon Spawn War to serve as both a weapon and for fighting in the dark. They were often distributed to units lacking night vision, for one Cinder spear will light up an area equal to a light spell.
The shaft of a Cinder spear is forged of adamantine with the head topped with a piece of coal that is ever-burning. The edges and and tip of this coal spearhead are glass-like and very sharp, yet as hard and durable as iron.
Cinder spears vary in enchantment from +1 to +3.
