Brain Eaters are illithid weapons that have the power to consume the brain of those struck by it. The victim's brain can then be turned into an intellect devourer that serves the wielder. The weapon's normal enchantment range is +2 to +4.
The haft of the weapon is made of deep crystal connected to a glassteel sphere. When empty, this is partially filled with a briny ichor. After consuming a brain, regardless of its size, the inside become filled with the consumed brain surrounded by the liquid.
