Gith was an insurgent leader who rescued his people from Suellk servitude. After the Incarsabec Rebellion (1531 HE - 1544 HE), he became the leader of the githyanki people. A great military leader, he proved not fit for the political intrigue that followed his people's freedom. Ten years into his rule as B'lailleth's first emperor, Vla'akith I, he was assassinated by githyanki usurper named Zylashe Vla'akith.
Gith is still revered in some githyanki societies, with them naming military marvels after him, like the Eye of Gith, Hand of Gith, Drones of Gith, and so on.
