In the Year 1126, fifteen Tungesti tribes of the Iraktharbhun Valley captured Iglutt, ending the Kingdom of Naggor. A year later, under the guidance of their champion Dranfulmus, these tribes formed the Targad confederacy.
From Iglutt, the empire built roads, settlements and fortifications across the Raganbiraks. Their territory expanded all the way to Gudgrid and north to Baurwen.
After the Black Tide War (1465 - 1504), the remnants of the smashed armies of the Farinteen Alliance and the refugees of the Farinteen Empire fled into the territory of their neighbors. Those that went east had to battle the Targad. This old enemy was quickly outnumbered by a huge population forced upon their lands by undead legions that had no mercy for the defeated. In 1531 the Shields of Iraktharbhun captured Iglutt. Two years after that, they took Milithian. With the loss of their major holdings, the Targad confederacy was dissolved on 16 Witchrite 1534.
