Yastorogg was built by the Mîmêk of Irdtrax. In 1337, as part of the Raefknar War it fell to the Army of Dvr'jiss.
Yastorogg is sited three miles down the Raefknar rift. It has grown much since it fell to Dvr'jiss with dwarven architecture lost in demon-inspired building. The crumbling buildings and shoddy construction of these new areas are largely the efforts of a slave population that is more than half the city. The Palace of Jagg is an area where foreign builders were brought in to make it a place that would stand the test of time and war. It is a marvel of engineering with walls and towers inlaid with Styx Granite.
The city's army is led by a staff of war troll generals. When not busting rock in the Nagopt'nee mines, slaves rotate into the army for a period of one year military service for evey three spent in the mines or other toil.
Yastorogg controls the deeps of Raefknar. The city-state Bolip-Stalacite is a vassal state of Yastorogg, which is a loose classification since it more like a slave hold.
