Gothmak was built by the ogres of Khatúlg. It was built to control and move commerce along the Viiz Bo. This river flows through the keep and then plunges over Diiv Prok. To help move commerce up and down these cliffs, elevators were constructed in the keep. These elevators are very large and can hold twenty ogres comfortably. Traffic moving down the Viiz Bo, stop a mile north the keep at the small town of Irorn. The goods are then moved overland to Gothmak. Once at the bottom of Diiv Prok, the goods or travelers are moved onto boats and sent down the Viiz Bo. Many of these boats are owned by merchants out of Suf Sungaar.
