This large body of water is fed by fast-moving streams and rivers. These waterways drain from the rocky and forested slopes on the southern side of Girrun'nâth. The Hedrac valley is south of the lake. It rises upward to the south and cuts into the Siganbul mountains. The waters of the lake come mostly from the melting of Barândîr. As a result, much of the lake has an azure color just like the ice of the glacier.
