Akumîlû is the secret police agency of the Khazarkar Empire. They are under direct command of the Pharzîmrâth, serving both state interests and church interests. Agents operate in every city of the empire. Some are trained in psionics, taken in as youths, they specialize in skills that will help in tracking and taking down Conclave wizards.
Primarily composed of Khazarkars, this secret police force also employs doppelgangers, Shades, and others particularly suited for clandestine operations. Special attention is given to doppelgangers. Using psychic surgery, the agency's Mental Engineering department curbs the doppelganger's less savory tendencies.
