Battle Of Azrunâth

In the Year 1733, the Khazarkar Empire tried to take Azrunâth by naval and ground attacks. The goal was to seize the rich city and its commercial trade. The Khazarkars landed their ground forces at Sibacin. The navy then took up blockade and bombardment of the city.

When Shounejo learned of Azrunâth plight, they sent the Dazi Tetzezan to the aid of their commercial friend. Late in the year, naval contingents of Shounejo supported by Azrunâth frigates, defeated the naval forces of the Githân. This was a major blow since it stranded the land armies of the Khazarkar Empire. Nearly 15,000 troops had to make their way north through hostile lands and then across the unforgiving Sands of Hell. A little more than 2,000 troops made it back to the Khazarkar Empire frontier.
