Dûlan is a metal that looks like iron, is worked like it, yet is resistant to natural corrosion. It is poisonous to barnacles and other organisms with a knack for latching onto piers and the undersides of ships. When used in a magic item, it becomes impervious to the corrosive effects of slimes, puddings, and oozes. One of the most interesting properties of this metal is that it regenerates. A chipped sword will repair itself in a week, two pieces of a broken dagger will mend in two.
