Ungarmuk is an unnatural desert flanked by the Ugradrath mountains. It came about from the opening of the Sand Spitter rift. The fine yellow sand of this area is constantly being blown across the rift, its origin an Elemental Ring World called Granitoid. Sometimes, Earthen come through this one-way rift. This is usually by accident, lost in a sand storm they unknowingly stumble into the rift's opening, or the ferocity of the storm is such they are blow into it. The earth elementals that find themselves in this desert are much sought after. With their masterly skills in mining and engineering, slavers greet them with shackles. Mining companies and even the Orchish Empire, are their primary buyers.
