Turkosh is a valley in southeastern part of Athoreon. The valley is flanked by the towering peaks of the Elephant Backbone. In this valley are strongholds and settlements of the Nathargundu. Midway up the valley are numerous nitre beds. This valuable and strategic resource is guarded by the fortress Gumargûn.
A very rare plant called Azirag is found in this valley. The plant is used to make a perfume called Thargan.
