Thranerch is a mountain range of the southeastern reaches of the High Wood Country. The area's goblins have long been a thorn in the side of the Angrods. The area's goblins have been here long before the arrival of the elves from Phael. When the Angrods came into the area and started claiming the dense woodlands, the goblins took this as competition for the area's game. They have quarreled and warred ever since.
Thranerch's goblins are most known for two things, the invention of Grishnákh Voodoo and a mastery of the sling that rivals the elves reputed mastery of the bow. The other noted strength of the goblins is the strength of their shamanic spell casters.
