Built by the Gimhak, Tharam-Khâl was built over a rich mithril vein. Named Nâram-Zind, this vein was of such quality and quantity that most of Gimhak soldiers were outfitted with mithril armor.
In 1501, Monty the Mad was killed inside Tharam-Khâl. The fortress fell in the same year to the Orchish Empire.
