Sôvib-Sir is a dark shallow lake at the deepest recesses of Othrangad. Only about 10% of the lake is exposed to the surface, with the rest hidden in the Underdark. The lake is eerily quiet with only the trickle of water from the chasm walls breaking the silence.
Sôvib-Sir drains to the south along a narrow channel that leads to the Sea of Mourning. In the Artery War (1546 - 1554), many fleeing Black Tide soldiers came Sôvib-Sir. The soldiers fled into the ancient mine shafts of Othrangad and following marked routes which took them to numerous barges positioned along the shores. The barges then travelled to the breakwaters of the Sea of Mourning, where they embarked on ships bound for Necrocrypt.
