Qijerqul is a perpetually windswept desert stretching from the Pellangoth Forest in the north to the coasts of the Bog Sea. The winds, gusty, sometimes gusty or steady are said to mirror the breath of a great witch that died here. Named the Breath of Arhibess, during the heavy winds it carries the moans and screams of the dying.
The plant-life of this desert is dry wiry scrub, cactus, creosote bush, and acacias in the south. A wild area unclaimed by none, Qijerqul is home to needlefolk in the thousands, cacti treants, sand beetles, and other potentially dangerous plant-life.
