The Pass of Rungalur is flanked on the north by the southeastern edge of Fros Idar, and south by the holy walls of Achamâz. Late in the Horgon Era, this rugged valley was the territory of a hill giant chieftain named Rungalur. His scion followed in his footsteps, raiding the lands around, and in times of peace, charging tolls to any looking to travel east or west. In the reign of the Yagamph Republic (746 - 956), this valley was pacified, its hill giants driven beyond the steaming pools of Cibothrâr. In the Year 789, at the center of this valley, Yagamph founded the settlement of Ugenarg.
