It is said the Gorantin race were conceived in this jungle. Their brachiation was needed for a jungle floor covered in huge dead-falls and where leaves grow so broad as to hide big predators. The trees of this forest grow to hundreds of feet high, some tall and slender, others with bases a hundred feet in diameter. The vine growth can get so bad that even birds have to fly over or land and wiggle through a web of vegetation. The forest floor is thick. There are no roads in the jungle and the only civilizations are those that make their homes high up in the trees.
