The Orek river begins where the coldfire energy of the Draeutt thins out becoming a semi-natural water. The river flows east through Elyami until reaching Luthil where it joins with two other rivers becoming the great river Dargirth.
The magical properties of the Draeutt have resulted in new lifeforms in the Orek. These are believed to be creatures that have been mutated by traces of magical energy. The most dangerous of these are water weirds which are thought to have originated in the area where the Draeutt becomings the semi-natural waters of the Orek.
