This wide and deep river begins at the inland ocean Mizzen. From there it flows north to the Pearl Sea. It cuts through Tezi Rîna's north-south axis like a great fjord. Its depth and width are such that ocean-going ships can pass through all the way to the opposing seas. Closer to the northern coasts, Mêzel's banks are dotted with villages and towns. All fall within the protection of Ivory Asylum.
