Kuthral is a thick soupy lake of oil sited in the Lurans. The glistening black surface is frequently covered with a layer of water and debris. When the rays of Merioss and Khâls Forge evaporate the water, reckless individuals sometimes ignite the oil. These fires burn for days, sometimes months, creating a pall over the lands. In time, Oakenbeard and other more responsible people extinguish these fires with weather summoning spells.
