The Ilimys-Erethor Cut is a sub-surface ocean channel linked to the surface ocean Erethor. This channel is several hundreds miles long and anywhere from a mile to ten miles across. It serves as a safe anchorage to ride out storms, refuge for pirates, and haven for oceanic creatures and subterranean ones. There are numerous passages leading up from it and into the bowels of the Underdark region Miryeril.
