The Great Forges is a smoky valley burned and scarred by volcanoes. One is always active, spilling lava down the slopes, following canals and aqueducts, funneled to dozens of forge sites. At various points along the way, air elementals do their part in keeping the flow hot. In the Creation War (1486 DE - 8777 DE) this area grew to be an expansive forge-works, supplying Covenant arms for wars going on across the universe.
In the Demon Spawn War (8972 GE - 9493 GE), output grew even more, as did the wealth of those handling the needs of millions of soldiers scattered across the Quara'tun System. In this war with the demons, this area and the world around it, was under the command of Asmodeus.
