The river Famirótan begins in the Pirron mountains. It flows north from these horseshoe mountains through the elven city Lúinwë then east through the Guivre swamp. In this wetland, the Famirótan is joined first by the river Cenyemo and then by Irudrarg. The now very wide river, empties into the Core Sea.
