Awâb is a hot and muggy wetland of a valley called Izradî. It is bordered on the north by Mithivî and to the southeast by a purple desert called Mattârâk.
The swamp is home to trolls, gargoyles, crystal oozes, green hags, and other wretches. Many of these creatures answer to Re-Tisch, a green hag witch of no small repute. She dwells at the Knoll of Re-Tisch. Atop this small hill is a ruined building leading to an extensive labyrinth.
