The Atharâg river begins at the Anaz Rift. With headwaters at the base of the otherworldly mountain Anaz, it makes a course north for roughly 200 miles where it joins the easterly flowing leg of the river Damazandal. Where they join, the flow of the Damazandal is noticeably sloped downward, yet being a magical river, the speed is constant.
