Aranel Vardamir is a twenty-two mile long canyon northwest of the Core Sea. The rocky crags of this canyon are home to thousands of giant beehives. The bees that make their home here collect pollen from the giant flowers of Maranwë Tîwele.
The area sees a lot of conflict between bands of Jara and soldiers out of Ithengee. They both come here seeking the area's valuable honey; unique for its rich long-lasting taste. The Jara use the honey for healing salves, while the Ithengee use it to make a wine called Thralion. Some of is illegally gathered by others seeking to make a living. In places as far as Paradomea City, this foodstuff called Vardamir Honey sells for ten times what regular honey goes for.
