The Abazuddan mountain range is borders the Sands of Hell. In the First Epoch, the Gimhak city of Anarukthalan mined the range's western peaks. When this city fell to the Orchish Empire, the mines came to be the lair of monsters.
On the southern side of these mountains is the ancient ruin of Eydreid. In the Lith-Crillion Era, it was the home of the Knudmid.
