The Gray Block was a pact between Coeus and Set. It was formed to undertake the grueling process of Ascension. On 17 War March 1288 HE, they made Krak-Oth a Higher Power. Their reason for doing this is not clear. Some say both wanted to get their hands on the Durkoth Saint's Torc of Maen Grirngrim, a device that seemed to be tied to the soul.
