Siege crossbows are mounted on tripods or on the walls of fortifications. They require a 17 or greater strength to load, or two or more creatures with 25 strength points. The velocity of the weapon provides +3 to-hit. The weapon is heavy and cumbersome, but a creature with a 19 or greater strength can fire the weapon without needing it mounted.
