The Alley Blaster is an invention of the Orchish Empire. It is the choice weapon of Githirmil police captains. They use them for scattering rioters, or stopping horde tactics from underneath in cities like Collossapolos.
An Alley Blaster fires a cluster of iron balls, "shot-gun", in a cone covering an 8' wide cone at its farthest extent. The damage from the weapon is reduced by 8hp for each category after short range. Within ten feet of the barrel, the weapon has a +3 bonus to-hit.
On a roll of "1" these weapons are broken by either an exploding barrel (Reflex DC12 or 1d4 damage) or major cracking.
