The first Wood Spur was forged by a theegan druid for the sole purpose of clearing the heavy unnatural vegetation that forms the edge of the Taurquion forest. This forest edge is the called the Tendrils; an area particularly resistant to blight and fire. Because of the weapon's purpose of clearing vegetation, both sentient and non-sentient, it is a death sentence to have such a weapon in lands under Angrod law.
