From 1666 to 1674, Khôni was a brigadier general serving under General Raxcvillibus Dumu-Loc. In the Locust Encroachment (1412 - 1694), then in its second century, they battled the Hive Swarms invading Azrik's southern borders; land claimed by the empire Ba'lith.
Khôni was of such talent, that Raxcvillibus was not about to see him die of old age, so he took him to the Stream of Immortality where an extra sixty years was added to his lifespan. In the end, his mind did what aging could not. He was traumatized by the Locust Encroachment and the ceaseless bug attacks on Ba'lith's southern borders and an area that he had long called home. He ended up taking his own life, which for minotaurs is a highly dishonorable act - they would rather you sacrifice yourself in the fighting pits, go out with honor.
