Helmstoy was a skeletal warrior that served as the fortress commander for Icehorn Steadfast. His boss was the vampire Carlone. The League of Ten, while exploring Icehorn Steadfast encountered both of them. The pair escaped the first encounter with this legendary adventuring band. Later, they were encountered at Black Forge Keep. Helmstoy lost his head in the first encounter with the League of Ten, yet subsequently had it regenerated by a powerful mummy lord named Threllkell.
