In 1266, when the Kal-Oni Empire fell, Chagrao, a prison overseer, and some of his staff took over Alluvium Deep. They formed a company named Alluvium Wardens that manages prisons, provides security personnel and mercenaries.
Alluvium Wardens runs a school for pit fighting. This part of the company got its start from prisoner pit fighting at Alluvium Deep. The prisoners advance to better quarters and shorter sentences based on the number of pit victories. The Alluvium Wardens have been accused of "fight fixing" on many occasions. As a result, regional pit competitions are not held here.
