Ren-Jorusk

Ren-Jorusk was a charismatic pirate of the Second Epoch. One of his most notable pirate bases was on the northern shores of Ma'Ohari. This pirate haven was built in a sheltered inlet with deep waters and backed by the Glamvir peaks. This prime location for a harbor proved to be highly defensible from both naval and land attacks, but more importantly a safe harbor from the harsh storms common to Ma'Ohari's northern coasts. When Ren-Jorusk died, this pirate base was named after him.

By the 1300s, the town of Ren-Jorusk was a bustling pirate haven. It also served as the confederacy headquarters of the Pirate Lords.

In 1480, Ren-Jorusk was captured by Admiral Jairall Bloodtusk, becoming a holding of his kingdom. Many of the defeated were enslaved, the lucky escaped to the pirate havens dotting the Buccaneer Archipelago or fled overland to Burterinii.

In Year 1796, the second year of the Burterinii-Bloodtusk War (1795 - 1800), Ren-Jorusk was liberated. By agreement of the Burterinii-Buccaneer Alliance, it was turned over to the Pirate Lords.

The main churches of the city are dedicated to gods which have domains of some interest to pirates. These are two water gods, Poseidon and Tempestant and the god of luck Lukoon.
