Estathess

Estathess was founded in 740 LE by liberated Graagvrii. They were freed from the Lith-Crillion research center of Khimilêth, escaping with a rogue Lith-Crillion named Gimir-Zarun. Before obtaining their freedom they had been suffering under heat of the Sands of Hell and undertaking menial tasks as "enlightened" servants of the Knudmid and Lith-Crillion masters. The Graagvrii of Estathess are originally from the wetland Kagarr, a place on the other side of the continent in the region High Wood Country.

The city's bullywug population are originally from Orondir. They ended up here through migration or as slaves. This practice of slaving did not start until the Demacian came to influence the city. It was forbidden during the time of Gimir-Zarun, with him viewing the Lith-Crillion's idea of "enlightening" people as just another form of making others serve you and do your dirty work.

Estathess is a culturally advanced civilization on par with the Orchish Empire. They have schools, libraries, and other facilities for public good and the advancement of society. The beginnings of these were introduced with Gimir-Zarun and the eldritch giants of Belêth-Kazîr. It was not unusual for someone to come to Belêth-Kazîr for arcane studies and not be able to pay for tuitions. They were offered work as teachers, advisors, and other roles in Estathess as a way to pay for their studies.
